Clean and efficient power sources – Fuel Cells
Fuel cell technology is the key to accessing the reversible electrochemical energy properties of hydrogen.
During low energy demand periods, fuel cells supplied with electricity will help to store the energy as hydrogen derived from water. When energy demand rises, fuel cells produce electricity from hydrogen and air. Cleanly, quietly with high efficiency and few moving components, fuel cell systems enable access to the natural energy cycle available from hydrogen.
Fuel cells offer energy solutions for a wide range of applications due to their inherent scalability and modularity. Fuel cells can power telecommunication, transportation and building applications providing greater personal freedom, mobility and reliability.
SolviCore´s contribution to realize this vision is the MEA - Membrane Electrode Assembly for fuel cell applications. Fuel cell technology is the key to accessing the reversible electrochemical energy properties of hydrogen.
Within its product line pMembrain, SolviCore is developing and supplying products for the four different applications hydrogen-, reformate- and direct- methanol fuel cells as well as for PEM-water-electrolysis. These components for fuel cells are manufactured on specially developed and adapted pilot production lines.
